Ecostone, a gated community of weekend home plots, was conceived as a place to go back to our roots away from the noise and technologically saturate life. To highlight this escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, the concept of eco-village was introduced. 
The site opens into the Western Ghat foothills with ample nature and serenity.
Sustainability is vital to every project today, hence local materials and architecture was promoted. Laterite stone with its abundant local supply was used as the core building material. The site also houses a clubhouse, machhan, open community barbeque area and cow sheds.
